Module Outline
This module addresses the nature and functioning of international politics. The module introduces students to theories of international politics by looking at a number of different traditions and approaches. The module then examines a number of to key issues and concepts in international politics. The module applies these theories and concepts to a range of different regions.
Module learning outcomes
Identify the major theoretical approaches to international politics and describe their key elements
Apply an understanding of theories of international politics to explaining the nature of contemporary international politics
Describe and identify a key issue or concept in international politics
