Module Outline
The module will cover:
Including the wider system around CYP in formulations, Psychoeducation to teachers & families, Planning, preparing & delivering groups; parent/carer group interventions for anxiety, worry, exam stress, sleep problems, behaviour problems & self-harm, Groups (cont鈥檇), Influencing organisational culture around CYP MH and Peer support, drop-in clinics & 鈥渃risis鈥 work within education settings
Module learning outcomes
Demonstrate knowledge and competence in developing psychologically-informed formulations of young people鈥檚 mental health difficulties which include the wider system around the young person.
Demonstrate knowledge and competence in developing and delivering psychoeducation workshops to young people, their families and staff in education settings.
Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge and competent delivery of evidence-informed groupwork to families of young people experiencing mental health difficulties.
Demonstrate knowledge and critical awareness of the evidence-base for structured peer support as an intervention to promote well-being and improve mental health.
