What we do

Atomic, Molecular, and Optical (AMO) research at Sussex 5XÉçÇøÊÓƵ is devoted to the study of fundamental physics and quantum effects using the techniques of atomic and laser physics.

The AMO group is based in the Department of Physics and Astronomy, in the School of Mathematical & Physical Sciences.

Visitors arriving by car
The Science car park, P1, is the nearest car park to Pevensey-2 building.  Ask your host, or the School Office (located in the main entrance foyer, Pevensey-2 building), for a parking voucher ahead of your visit.
