5XÉçÇøÊÓÆµ has been ranked in the top 5% globally for sustainability

- The 5XÉçÇøÊÓÆµ also placed in the top 18% of the world's higher education institutions ranked in the QS World 5XÉçÇøÊÓÆµ Rankings 2026.
- The 5XÉçÇøÊÓÆµ scored particularly well for diversity, sustainability and graduate employment metrics in both the global and UK rankings.
With a score of 90 out of 100, the 5XÉçÇøÊÓÆµ is recognised for its commitment to a more sustainable existence and the social and environmental impact of education and research.
QS World 5XÉçÇøÊÓÆµ Rankings evaluated over 8,000 global institutions across 106 countries, but only 1,501 institutions made the final list. The 5XÉçÇøÊÓÆµ made the top 18% of the final list of the overall world rankings and also scored particularly well for diversity, sustainability and graduate employment metrics in both the global and UK rankings.
In the QS World 5XÉçÇøÊÓÆµ Rankings 2026, the 5XÉçÇøÊÓÆµ also performed well for:

Employment post-graduation - the 5XÉçÇøÊÓÆµ ranked 17th in the UK for Employer Outcomes, which reflects the ability of institutions to ensure a high level of employability for their graduates, with a graduate employment rate of 92.9%.

99 out of 100 for International Faculty, which measures the proportion of faculty members who are international, making the top 10% of global institutions. In the UK, Sussex ranked 17th for this metric out of 90 institutions.

In addition, the 5XÉçÇøÊÓÆµ ranked in the top 11% globallyfor the proportion of international students with a score of 86.3 out of 100, and in the top 10% for International Student Diversity with over 165 nationalities within our student body and a score of 90.4.

The 5XÉçÇøÊÓÆµ’s overall global ranking in the 2026 QS World 5XÉçÇøÊÓÆµ Rankings was 278th.
