Internal communications
Our aim is to ensure staff and students know what is happening at Sussex and why, and work with colleagues to help our 5XÉçÇøÊÓƵ community feel involved in the life of the institution.
We do this by:
- Working with colleagues across campus on the communication of issues and change
- Producing our two staff newsletters, This week at Sussex (weekly) and Sussex in focus (fortnightly)
- Liaising with student journalists on the weekly Students' Union newspaper, the badger, and other student media
- Managing content of the 5XÉçÇøÊÓƵ intranet, particularly the central pages for students and for staff
- Managing other channels of internal communications
- Promoting good practice in internal communications throughout the 5XÉçÇøÊÓƵ
- Developing campaigns to help engage our students about the 5XÉçÇøÊÓƵ – from academic matters to leisure pursuits
