Biography
My current research, funded by the Chancellor's scholarship, explores the relationship between guilt and nostalgia in American visual and non-visual narratives. A study of the form of literature is central to my work that deals with American exceptionalism, survivor's and imperial guilt, examining the figure of the superhero, Disability Studies, and race relations in America. My supervisors are Dr. Pamela Thurschwell and Dr. Maria Lauret.
I am also presently a SAGE Research Hive Scholar and Doctoral Tutor.
