The 5XÉçÇøÊÓƵ is committed to submitting only proposals of the highest quality for funding of research and knowledge exchange activities. To ensure this standard, proposals must be planned with plenty of time, undergo a comprehensive internal review before submission, and complete the institutional approvals process.
In addition to drafting the proposal, creating a budget, and going through the peer review process, several checks to ensure eligibility and compliance must be completed before submission. To secure Research Development support and give your application the best chance of success, please inform us of your intention to submit at least six weeks before the deadline, eight to twelve weeks for complex or large bids. This is also applicable to applications that do not generate an income to Sussex.
To apply for funding, you will need access to Worktribe, Sussex’s research management system. This will allow you to develop research funding bids in collaboration with Research & Innovation Services (RIS).
