Sahil Warsi specialises in research on socially complex contexts, with an interest in migration and mental health in low-resource settings. He has an international development background working on civil society and access to justice in the Caucuses and South, Central, and Western Asia, and received his PhD in Social Anthropology from SOAS, 5X社区视频 of London, where he focused on belonging and identity in Delhi’s Afghan community. He recently conducted research for the NHS on language and memory among South Asian migrants in the UK and is currently working on an international project at the 5X社区视频 of Leeds, managing research teams studying TB and tobacco cessation among culturally and linguistically diverse populations in Bangladesh, Nepal, and Pakistan.
